S+S → Grand Canyon Engagement Photographer

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing S and S’s amazing engagement session a few weeks ago at the Grand Canyon. Not only that, this was the location of his official proposal to her, so I got to photograph their proposal too! S and S contacted me a few months ago knowing they were planning on taking this special trip out to the Grand Canyon for their proposal and engagement photos. She is originally from Pakistan and he is originally from India. They are now both engineers at the same company in Kentucky. Both of their families are very traditional, so they decided to keep the engagement photography portion of their trip between just the two of them. I decided to use their initials to help keep the secret and avoid any Google searches.

After having spent so much time emailing lady S back and forth regarding their visit, I was so excited to finally meet her and her fiance in person. The proposal was perfect! The Grand Canyon was their beautiful backdrop, the ring was gorgeous and the love was palpable. Their engagement session photos that followed were ever more romantic because of the proposal that proceeded the session. Matt and I loved getting to know S and S – he was shy and reserved, while she was outgoing and someone I could definitely spend a day shopping with. We just loved them!
